Checked out your poll which is on an issue close to my heart.
I went to a Grammar school myself, but have always been opposed to (probably because of my own experience) sorting kids into 'smart" and 'not so smart' at the age of 11 based on outdated tests which are better measures of social class and parental motivation than genuine ability.
I worry what'll happen to my kids when it comes round to 11+ time.
