Are the chocolates made by union members?
You expect this under a Cobservative Government, but then that's what we have at present.
Which Union is Jack Straw a member of, if he is, put it on this blog and then I can fire off an email.
Jack Straw is a GMB member I think - but too be fair (have to be some times!), looks like a lot of the blockage is with local management.
Earlier this year Jack Straw wrote to Brendan Barber (http://www.auses.org/docs/Auses/JackStrawLtr3.17.05.pdf), highlighting his commitment to a voluntary agreement - which seems at odds with the Embassy's refusal to concede collective bargaining. The AUSES web-site (www.auses.org) has got loads of info about the ongoing dispute.
Ta for that info - off to Auses site - must try and see who appoints the head honcho in the Embassy. Grr this sort of gets my goat. And I thought I was passed it.
Oh monsieur with your wit you are definitely NOT spoiling us!
Anonomous - now what friendly person would with hold their identity?
If you thought the Ferrero Rocher joke was good, I refer you to the "Tracking technology means workers are 'loo'sers..." post which can be found if you type
'loo'sers
into the google box which can be found on the 'top right'.
Now you know the meaning of pain!
