Have you tried taking 'honeycomb' before the start of the hay-fever season. Sometimes it works, these old fashioned wives tales can be useful.
Does it have to be local honeycomb?
No, but it is best if you can obtain it direct from a beekeeper. There must be some in Liverpool.
